expense of striping the paint, re-staining &
sealing!

Wood Finishes
Antique - Multiple means of aging the surface of any
wood to bring about a nostalgic appeal.
Burnish - Wood is tanned by heat prior to sealing.
Enamel - Hard finish with high gloss appeal.
Lacquer / Varnish - An age old beautiful technique.
Liming - A wax or paint application to antique.
Turpentine, Tung & Linseed Oil - A natural, rich and
enduring wet seal finish.
Patina / Verdigris - Antique finish to mimic an old
metal finish.
Polyurethane / Top Coat - Polyurethane can be used
be used to seal a wood surface, however if a color
tint is added, the semitransparent medium can be
applied to build up color and depth without the
need of penetrating the wood surface.
Color Wax - A multitude of color waxes can be applied
to bring about richness and depth..
White Wash - A masking technique that utilizes a
powder with paint.
